Who we are

Legend of Growth is operated by Shamir Islam, based in Paris, France. You can reach us at hi@legendofgrowth.com. For GDPR purposes, the same address is the data controller contact.

What we collect, and why

1. 01 · Newsletter signup

   When you subscribe to The Weekly Playbook, we collect your email address (only). It's stored with our email service provider (Beehiiv, ConvertKit, or similar – check the footer for the current provider) and used to send you the newsletter. You can unsubscribe with one click on every issue. We do not sell or share the list with anyone.

2. 02 · Contact form

   When you submit the contact form, we receive your name, email, optional company / URL, and message. The submission is delivered by Resend (transactional email) to our inbox. We use it to respond to your inquiry. We retain inquiries for 12 months for follow-up context, then delete unless you become a client.

3. 03 · Analytics

   We use PostHog (EU region) for privacy-respecting product analytics. PostHog records anonymous page views, button clicks, and rough geography (country level). It does not record personal identifiers, form contents, or password fields. You can opt out by enabling Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control in your browser.

4. 04 · Hosting + delivery

   The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare logs basic request metadata (IP, user agent, response time) for security and performance. We don't combine these logs with any other data about you.

Cookies

We use the minimum number of cookies and localStorage entries we can get away with: PostHog sets a small set for anonymous-session continuity. We do not set advertising or third-party tracking cookies on this site. We do not run a "cookie banner" because the cookies we do set fall under the strictly-necessary / first-party-analytics carve-outs of the GDPR / ePrivacy interpretation followed by CNIL (the French regulator) – but if that changes, we will add one.

Your rights

Under GDPR (and most other modern privacy laws), you have the right to:

• +Correct any inaccuracies
• +Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
• +Export your data in a portable format
• +Object to processing or withdraw consent at any time

Changes to this policy

When we update this page, we'll bump the date at the top. Material changes (e.g., new processors, new categories of data) will be announced in the next newsletter issue and at the top of this page.
